This holder is a recommendation for Offroad, for normal uses the installation effort seems comparatively high to us. Compared to other phone holders, it requires indeed some time and tools to secure the holder. The seat rail clamp must be screwed to the seat rail, the flexible rod properly bent. Then of course one has a very load-bearing base in any desired angle. That is a great foundation for a tablet or other high loads.
However, we can recommend the X-Grip as a universal holder to everyone as a genuine universal holder, it easily holds the most diverse standard devices and also large smartphones and that across many device generations.
For Offroad, the device can additionally be secured with the tie-down strap.
