This mount easily solves a wide variety of mounting problems. It holds rock solid on windshields, clean kitchen surfaces, and anywhere else on smooth, clean surfaces. It is especially the right choice when different devices need to be held without having to adjust anything. For example, in a car used by different drivers. However, if you mostly have large smartphones, it is better to use the large X-Grip. But basically, it fits anything that is somewhat elongated and within the width and depth range. That can also be a radio, a navigation device, a dog treat, or the remote control. And the holder is extremely durable.
I have some limitations regarding its off-road suitability and use in the kitchen. These suction cups are mostly underrated or overrated. When newly attached to a clean surface, you can almost do pull-ups with it. But kitchen surfaces are, realistically, not always clean. Strong vibrations off-road reduce the suction, so the mount needs to be checked more frequently. Here, perhaps it is better to use a double suction cup.
