This relatively small mount, considering RAM MOUNTS standards, is highly recommended for its ease of use and convenience, especially on two-wheel vehicles. There’s no need to fumble with a case around the phone or apply tension bands. With the Tough Claw holding claw, it can be attached and removed from the handlebar without tools. The phone can easily be inserted against the spring tension. This can also be done with one hand. The device then sits firmly and reliably. Here the holder also outperforms the X-Grip. However, the Quick Grip is not so easy to use for different devices because you might first have to adjust its width. This should not be a disadvantage on the bicycle or motorcycle, as these are rarely used by the whole family.
This is the new low profile version without an arm. Excellent if you want to quickly remove the entire mount along with the phone in one action. However, those who want to adjust their holder to the perfect angle are better served with a holder with an arm for example RAM-B-400-A-HOL-UN10BU.
