Product information "X-Grip handlebar mount for large smartphones - brace clamp 0.5-1.25 inches"
The X-Grip Plus handlebar mount for iPhone, Samsung and Android bikes offers cyclists of all kinds a reliable and stable attachment solution for their smartphones to the handlebar. Made from high-quality marine aluminum, it guarantees exceptional durability and resistance against different weather conditions. The robust clamp fits handlebars with a diameter of 0.5 to 1.25 inches and is compatible with nearly all common smartphones without the need for special cases.
For additional support on uneven terrains, the integrated strap as well as the rubber caps securely hold the smartphone in place. The flexible RAM Socket-Arm allows easy adjustment of the viewing angle so that the smartphone remains always clearly visible. This mount is ideal for commuters and adventurers who seek a versatile and robust solution.
The X-Grip Plus mount stands out with its enhanced modular expandability and adaptability, allowing it to adjust to nearly any phone without additional adjustments. Whether with or without a protective case, the mount works seamlessly and is excellent for demanding uses like mountain bike tours or long bicycle trips. The strap does not interfere with operation as it only covers the corners of the smartphone.
A possible disadvantage is that attaching and removing the strap can be somewhat cumbersome with frequent use, especially when wearing gloves. In such cases, the RAM Quick Grip is recommended, which allows for faster and easier handling. Overall, the X-Grip Plus handlebar mount is an excellent choice for all who value security, stability and flexibility in smartphone mounting on the bicycle.
Our opinion on the article
We consider the X-Grip to be one of the rare true universal holders because it fits almost all mobile phones and most purposes. This also works with your favorite case or without a case; you do not have to buy any special accessories for it. Without adjustments or the like. For rough usage areas on motorcycles or mountain bikes, one should use the included tension band. It does not interfere with operation because it only covers the corners. The holder can be adjusted at the adjustable arm to the optimal viewing and operating angle.
However, the X-Grip holder can also have disadvantages: If you take breaks quite often and like to quickly take out and reattach your phone, winding the tension band can be annoying. Especially with gloves. If that plays a big role for you, we recommend the RAM Quick Grip (e.g., RAM-B-149Z-A-PD4U). There, the phone is simply pushed in with one hand. It doesn’t get any faster.

einfaches, gutes, nachhaltiges Produkt
